The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carretero with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kallio throws a big shot that misses.
Carretero lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Kimmo Kallio has been cut.
That kick from Kallio tenderised Carretero's leg. Carretero is trying to keep his angry face on.
Carretero fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kallio throws a nice inside leg kick.
Carretero has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kallio misses with a right hand
and Carretero cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kallio is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Carretero engages and cracks Kallio with a massive lead left hook - Kallio tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Carretero is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
