This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Graham Walters ! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Dan Kim!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Walters clinches with his opponent.

Kim must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kim won't allow Walters to sweep him here.

Walters is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walters swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kim avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walters escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Walters isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kim stacks Walters on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kim!

Walters uses his free foot to push down on Kim's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kim.

Walters moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kim has worked his arm free - good work by Kim!

Walters is trying to get an arm triangle but Kim is defending well.

Kim can't do much from the bottom here.
Kim tries to bench press Walters off him but Walters keeps the position.

Walters thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Walters trying to control the position but Kim is working away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kim tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Walters wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kim wins on points by 11 to 8.
