Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Phil Cayman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cayman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lewis to the mat! Lewis manages to get full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lewis can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cayman is nestled in close to Lewis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cayman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lewis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Cayman has control of Lewis's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lewis regains control of the situation pretty easily.
