Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gonzo Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hale Tommasson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommasson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Go to sleep. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tommasson shoots in but Bunga avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bunga closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Tommasson is pressing down on Bunga's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Tommasson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bunga doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bunga manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bunga drops back looking for a leg! Tommasson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tommasson manages to kick Bunga off! Bunga jumps back into Tommasson's guard.

Bunga got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tommasson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bunga has managed to get both his arms back between Tommasson's legs - danger averted.

Bunga drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bunga jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bunga in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Tommasson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Bunga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tommasson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bunga postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bunga feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bunga is posturing up here but Tommasson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bunga tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bunga has to tap! Slick submission there by Tommasson!
