Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23680 p4p, 23771 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 28 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 42 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion dives in for a single leg takedown but Amiga sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Salvacion darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Amiga quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Amiga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvacion for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up with Amiga, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes Amiga against the cage but Amiga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
