Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oenomaus Doctore (ranked 3424 p4p, 3662 weight class) and Bartlomiej Jan (ranked 147 p4p, 0 weight class). Doctore comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - . Jan has chosen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WJFjXtHcy4 as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jan drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Doctore has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jan has managed to get both his arms back between Doctore's legs - danger averted.
Jan tries to free his leg and advance position but Doctore is retaining full guard.

Doctore is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jan is aware though and is defending well.

Doctore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Doctore has his foot on Jan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jan works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Doctore is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Jan is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

We've been hearing good reports from Doctore's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Doctore swings around for an armbar but Jan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Doctore's guard.

Jan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Let's hope that Jan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Jan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
