The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bowen is trying to work for a kimura but Tavistock is defending well.
Bowen is looking for a kimura but Tavistock is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bowen to get the leverage.
Tavistock knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bowen on the ground.
Bowen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tavistock is just riding it out for now. Bowen eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bowen seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tavistock is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
