The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calvio on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Polumbo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Calvio closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Calvio creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Polumbo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Polumbo's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Polumbo duly obliges.

Polumbo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Calvio circles away quickly and effectively.

Polumbo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Polumbo lands with a right hand.
Polumbo throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Calvio stumbling backwards into the cage! Calvio bounces back off the cage towards Polumbo, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Polumbo lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Polumbo celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
