Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maky Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reece Saint Le!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint Le shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Saint Le was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Saint Le scoring with punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gordon seems a little lost for a moment, as Saint Le dominates the positioning.
Saint Le wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gordon, who protects the arm well.
Saint Le has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Saint Le controlling from side mount.
Saint Le goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gordon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Saint Le but great work by Gordon.
Saint Le holds on to Gordon's head and controls the position momentarily.
Saint Le is not content to let Gordon control the position.
Saint Le holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Saint Le is looking to reverse the position.
Gordon trying to control the position but Saint Le is working away.
Gordon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Saint Le is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Saint Le looks frustrated here - throwing a couple of shots from the bottom though.
Gordon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saint Le keeps working.
Saint Le sneaks back into half guard.
Gordon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Saint Le on the ground.
The fighters are battling for position here. Saint Le manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Saint Le seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Gordon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gordon trying to control the position from guard on top but Saint Le is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
Saint Le has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gordon doesn't defend quickly enough and Saint Le has managed to lock this one up! Can Gordon escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Saint Le on a fantastic submission victory.
