The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kvinchal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kamenev avoids it really well and circles away. Kastav Kvinchal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kvinchal fails with the takedown. Kvinchal bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Kamenev (0) vs (4) Kvinchal Kvinchal goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kamenev has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kvinchal but great work by Kamenev.
