Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chino Moreno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun OShea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moreno comes into the arena with Xerces blaring out of the sound system. OShea has chosen S.O.S. - The Irish Curse as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chino Moreno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shaun OShea! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OShea shoots in for a double leg but Moreno sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. OShea closes the distance and lands a one-two. OShea changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moreno looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Moreno is trying to control OShea's posture but OShea avoids it. OShea sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Moreno is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Moreno tries to buck OShea off but OShea is having none of it. OShea wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moreno keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. OShea working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Moreno defending against the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. OShea trying to control the position but Moreno is working away. Moreno pushes OShea away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, OShea gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. OShea scores with a jab. Moreno acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Moreno lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Shaun OShea has been cut. Moreno drives through and clinches with OShea against the cage.
OShea tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Moreno just stands there and leans against the cage. OShea breaks from the clinch.
OShea shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chino Moreno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shaun OShea. Moreno looking for a takedown here - he's got it. OShea looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. OShea controls Moreno momentarily but Moreno frees himself. Moreno trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moreno scoring with punches to the head and body. OShea throws his legs up looking for a submission but Moreno uses it to pass to side control.
Moreno is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but OShea is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Moreno wants to lay and pray for a moment but OShea keeps working. Moreno stands up and we're back to a striking position. OShea is looking to clinch but Moreno is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreno wants to clinch up but OShea keeps it at a distance. Moreno shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says OShea as he avoids it easily. OShea closes the distance and clinches. Moreno prevents a takedown attempt there.
Moreno tries to score a body lock takedown but OShea shows good agility there to stay on his feet. OShea tries to break free but Moreno pushes him back against the cage. OShea misses with some punches.
OShea gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Moreno.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by OShea as Moreno tries to tie him up. Moreno pushes OShea back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Moreno is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
That's four minutes gone in the round. OShea tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Moreno just stands there and leans against the cage. Good body shot from OShea.
Moreno lands a left hand.
Moreno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moreno moves out of range as OShea throws a body kick.
Moreno closes the distance and clinches. Moreno's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Moreno shoots in looking for a takedown. OShea tries to sprawl out of it but Moreno keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. OShea manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Moreno, right into the meat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moreno tries to clinch but OShea is having none of it. Moreno scores with a one two! OShea had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chino Moreno dominated that round. The cut man is working on Shaun OShea's cut. That's time! Moreno's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
OShea drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. OShea scoring with punches to the head and body. Moreno looking for submissions from the bottom but instead OShea passes into side control.
Moreno is not content to let OShea control the position. Moreno is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Moreno struggling a bit here. Moreno tries to bench press OShea off him but OShea keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. OShea prevents Moreno from escaping the position. OShea is trying to get an arm triangle but Moreno is defending well. OShea is breathing heavily. OShea lands an elbow. You can see the frustration on Moreno's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. OShea working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Moreno can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Moreno pulls guard effortlessly. OShea throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moreno works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Moreno trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreno seems keen to control OShea's posture. Moreno has his foot on OShea's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. OShea works his way back into a safe position though. Moreno trying to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Moreno slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moreno avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Moreno working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shaun OShea showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Shaun OShea's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
OShea stuffs the takedown attempt from Moreno. Moreno gets slowly back to his feet. Moreno scores with a punch to the head. Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch up but OShea swats him away and circles back towards the center. OShea clinches up with Moreno and pushes him back against the cage. Moreno missing with knees to the body.
OShea goes for a takedown attempt but Moreno pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A nice leg kick lands there from Moreno. OShea tries to clinch up but Moreno circles away and keeps his distance. OShea gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Moreno counters with a shoot takedown. OShea fights it but they end up in guard. OShea takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreno has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of OShea is proving hard to escape from. OShea keeping moving, preventing Moreno from controlling successfully. OShea is trying to control the position but Moreno postures up. OShea tries to land a sweep but no joy. Moreno trying to control but OShea is working from the bottom. OShea wants to control the position but Moreno says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. OShea is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Moreno missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Moreno shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and OShea counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Moreno looking for a sweep. Not yet Moreno, not yet. Moreno is working hard here to advance position. OShea trying to control but Moreno is working from the bottom. Moreno wriggles free and stands up. OShea has his takedown stuffed and Moreno counters with a head kick. Chino Moreno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shaun OShea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreno closes the distance and clinches. OShea fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Moreno jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as OShea walks away with a smile on his face. Moreno gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Moreno shoots in looking for a takedown. OShea tries to sprawl out of it but Moreno keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. OShea manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Moreno tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but OShea swivels and escapes. Moreno lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Moreno throws a right hand that OShea ducks under and follows up with a left that OShea also avoids with ease. OShea scores a takedown into full mount! OShea thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moreno tries to lock up and control but OShea gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. OShea looking to finish with strikes here!
Moreno swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. OShea controlling from the full mount. Moreno is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chino Moreno. I think Moreno has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
