Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Dingley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, James Crumpton!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Crumpton or perhaps it was just good defense by Dingley which made him look bad.
Crumpton is looking to clinch but Dingley is avoiding it.
Crumpton turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dingley throws a right and a left that Crumpton avoids nicely.

Crumpton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Crumpton has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Dingley moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crumpton lands a head kick. Dingley smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Crumpton looks for a takedown but Dingley sprawls well.
Dingley takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dingley tries to bum rush Crumpton with a series of wild strikes but Crumpton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No joy there for Dingley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Donk. Dingley catches Crumpton right on the button with a cross.

Crumpton feints and as Dingley raises his hands in defense, Crumpton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dingley wants to stand up but Crumpton is controlling him.
Crumpton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Crumpton drops back looking for a leg! Dingley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dingley manages to kick Crumpton off! Crumpton jumps back into Dingley's guard.

Crumpton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Crumpton gets to his feet. Dingley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A punch combination from Dingley misses.

Crumpton decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Dingley manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Dingley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crumpton.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Crumpton dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Crumpton tries for a takedown but Dingley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Crumpton misses with a takedown attempt - Dingley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Crumpton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Joe Dingley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Crumpton.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dingley looks to land a combination. Crumpton sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like James Crumpton has been cut.

Crumpton throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dingley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Dingley throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Crumpton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dingley's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crumpton throws a big right hand that misses.
Crumpton content to stall in guard here.
Crumpton trying to control the position from guard on top but Dingley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dingley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crumpton on the ground.

Dingley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Crumpton stops Dingley from standing up.

Crumpton gets to his feet. Dingley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dingley misses with a double jab.
Crumpton closes the distance and clinches up with Dingley, looking for a takedown. Crumpton pushes Dingley against the cage but Dingley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dingley misses with a combination

and Crumpton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Crumpton is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dingley kicks off Crumpton and gets to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Crumpton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on James Crumpton's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


A right-left combo lands from Dingley.
Dingley takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
No luck for Crumpton with that takedown attempt.
Crumpton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Crumpton shoots for a takedown but Dingley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Crumpton loads up on a big right hand but Dingley slips the punch.
Crumpton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Crumpton moves into the clinch.
Crumpton is trying to drag Dingley to the mat but Dingley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Crumpton presses Dingley against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Crumpton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dingley misses with a double jab.
James Crumpton is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Crumpton drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dingley tries to escape but Crumpton is in control.
Crumpton happy to just control the position for now.
James Crumpton has got the better of the ground game so far.
Let's hope that Crumpton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dingley is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Crumpton asserts his dominance and retains side control.
