Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobert Bobbert (ranked 3822 p4p, 3894 weight class) and Chicken Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chicken Wayne is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobert Bobbert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chicken Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobbert shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wayne but Wayne pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wayne closes the distance and pushes Bobbert back into the cage.
Bobbert breaks the clinch.
Wayne keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bobbert throws a lazy right hand but Wayne sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bobbert is looking to chop away at Wayne's legs.
Wayne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bobbert swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bobbert fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wayne looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bobbert throws a lazy right hand but Wayne sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wayne takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wayne tries to land a front kick but Bobbert steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wayne gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bobbert.
A jab from Bobbert finds it's way through Wayne's defenses.
Wayne shoots in for a double leg but Bobbert sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wayne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bobbert swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bobbert throws a series of punches but Wayne avoids them all with ease.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wayne throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Wayne tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bobbert fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice sprawl there from Bobbert as Wayne shoots in.
Wayne moves to clinch but Bobbert breaks away
and Wayne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wayne takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bobbert throws a hook but Wayne blocks it.
Bobbert looks to score with a jab to the body but Wayne is just out of range.
Bobbert connects with a looping right hand.
Wayne throws a sloppy head kick and Bobbert moves out of range easily.
Wayne staying out of range there.
Wayne drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bobbert defends it well.
Bobbert getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Wayne takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Wayne is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bobbert lands a jab.
Wayne is still on wobbly legs! Can Bobbert finish him?
Bobbert tests Wayne's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bobbert throws out a loose jab but Wayne uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wayne moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wayne shoots and misses
and Bobbert scores with a counter punch that sends Wayne to the canvas! Bobbert smells blood - he's punishing Wayne with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Wayne has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobert Bobbert!
Bobert Bobbert decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
