Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damon Frost (ranked 3574 p4p, 5284 weight class) and Nneka Sani (ranked 408 p4p, 530 weight class). Nneka Sani told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Damon Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nneka Sani!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Sani.
Sani misses with an uppercut. Frost saw that one coming.
Frost tries to counter with a takedown but Sani is quick to defend against it.
Sani throws a head kick that misses
so Frost counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sani is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Frost trying to control the position from guard on top but Sani is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Frost drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Frost seems to have locked his on tight now - Sani screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Frost, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Damon Frost!
