The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Doctore gets the takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Globe (0) vs (4) Doctore Doctore looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Doctore wants to control but Globe is keeping him busy. Globe is looking to regain half guard here but Doctore keeps moving and retains side control. Globe gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Score +2 for reaching mount: Globe (0) vs (6) Doctore The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doctore seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Globe is holding on tight.
Globe manages to regain half guard. Good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Globe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Globe is pressing down on Doctore's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Doctore stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Globe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Doctore is looking to pass into half guard but Globe pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Globe is in guard. Doctore is not content to let Globe control the position. Doctore wants to improve his position but Globe is controlling well.

Globe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doctore gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Doctore slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Score +3 for passing guard: Globe (8) vs (11) Doctore Doctore has hold of Globe's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Globe seems comfortable defending it but Doctore has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Globe is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Globe is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Doctore couldn't care less - he's delighted!
