The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John throws a hook to the side of Hernandez's head but Hernandez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hernandez swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Nice jab there from Hernandez.
Hernandez looking to land some kicks to the body here.
John steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Hernandez.
John pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
John misses with a lunging right hand
and Hernandez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps John thinking.
John misses with a hook
and Hernandez counters with a nice low kick that buckles John 's knee momentarily.
John walks into a left hand.
Hernandez thumps John with a low kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Hernandez. That snapped John 's head back.
Hernandez lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
John looks winded!
Hernandez scores with a nice head shot.

Hernandez lands a big head kick that sends John tumbling to the mat! Hernandez takes a step backwards and waves John back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jihadi John has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
