Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hajime Saito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Pepinhos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pepinhos is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Macaco - Hacen Falta Dos. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saito is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pepinhos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Saito fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pepinhos sprawls well initially but Saito persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Pepinhos is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Saito's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Saito's back!

Saito feints and as Pepinhos raises his hands in defense, Saito changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Saito stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pepinhos swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pepinhos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Saito's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pepinhos drops back, looking for a kneebar! Saito looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Saito looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Saito!

Pepinhos manages to get his head free but now Saito has transitioned to an armbar! Pepinhos grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Saito! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
