Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barbados Slim (ranked 4406 p4p, 4241 weight class) and Mariusz Tarkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 463 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarkowski ducks under a wild hook from Slim.
Tarkowski dives in and grabs Slim's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slim pushes down on Tarkowski's head and hops out.

Tarkowski shoots in looking for a takedown. Slim tries to sprawl out of it but Tarkowski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slim manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Barbados Slim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariusz Tarkowski.

As Tarkowski tries to get set, Slim tries to push him back and clinch up but Tarkowski manages to avoid the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tarkowski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slim moves away.
Slim tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Tarkowski manages to circle out of the way.
Tarkowski shoots in for a takedown but Slim shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
