Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Jonathan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teppo Jonathan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with David Wilkins's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Wilkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Teppo Jonathan! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jonathan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wilkins swivels and escapes. Wilkins moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Teppo Jonathan has been cut. Wilkins scores with a jab to the body. Nice uppercut lands for Wilkins. That snapped Jonathan's head back.
Jonathan walks into a straight right hand from Wilkins.
Jonathan is rocked! Wilkins thuds a left hand into Jonathan's body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jonathan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jonathan is keen to just control but Wilkins is a slippery customer. Jonathan looks gassed! Jonathan thows a huge punch but Wilkins dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilkins is trying to stand up here but Jonathan is controlling him well. Jonathan is tying to control. Wilkins wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Jonathan controlling the action here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wilkins lands a two punch combo.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jonathan. Wilkins scores with a sloppy right hand. Jonathan should have avoided that one. Wilkins gets a clinch.

Jonathan closes the distance but Wilkins moves to the side and Wilkins counters with a straight right hand. Wilkins scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jonathan doesn't seem bothered though. Wilkins throws a good cross that connects.
Wilkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jonathan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wilkins lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jonathan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jonathan slows the pace down in half guard. Wilkins is trying to escape back to his feet but Jonathan uses the scramble to pass into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jonathan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. I looks like Jonathan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Despite being in the dominant position, Teppo Jonathan just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jonathan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wilkins counters with a left and a right that stings Jonathan. David Wilkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teppo Jonathan. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jonathan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wilkins circles away. Jonathan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Wilkins connects with a jab. Jonathan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jonathan controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Jonathan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Wilkins is looking to escape. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wilkins is refusing to be controlled, as Jonathan sits in half guard. Jonathan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Jonathan working over Wilkins with some ground and pound. Wilkins looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jonathan in particular looking to stall.

Wilkins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wilkins fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Wilkins throws a right and a left that Jonathan avoids nicely. Jonathan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wilkins is fending him off so far but Jonathan persists. Nope, Wilkins circles away and we're back to standing. Wilkins's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Wilkins duly obliges. Nice uppercut lands for Wilkins. That snapped Jonathan's head back.
Wilkins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Wilkins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A combination from Wilkins does no damage. Wilkins closes the distance and lands a one-two. Some wild striking there from Wilkins.
Jonathan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wilkins as he avoids it easily. Jonathan dodges the punch combination from Wilkins.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wilkins swinging wilding here.
Wilkins thows a left - swing and a miss! Wilkins getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Jonathan fails with the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That has opened up Teppo Jonathan's cut even more. David Wilkins is winning the standup battle so far. Wilkins moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Wilkins lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jonathan backs up against the cage.
Jonathan is still on wobbly legs! Can Wilkins finish him? Wilkins moves into the clinch. Wilkins gets underhooks to prevent Jonathan's takedown attempt.
Wilkins wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wilkins lands an uppercut. Wilkins wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jonathan has him pressed against the cage. Jonathan seems to have recovered his senses. Jonathan has hold of one of Wilkins's legs. Wilkins is fighting the takedown attempt but Jonathan gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Wilkins being controlled here, momentarily. Wilkins wants to stand and escape but Jonathan is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wilkins wants to stand up but Jonathan has a hold of him and won't allow it. Jonathan is looking to control Wilkins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jonathan avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jonathan wants to improve his position but Wilkins is controlling well.
Jonathan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wilkins is working away from the top position though. Wilkins decides to stand and escape the position. Jonathan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wilkins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wilkins scores with a nice strike.
The cut above Teppo Jonathan's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Jonathan moves in looking to clinch but Wilkins pushes him off.

Jonathan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wilkins but Wilkins pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jonathan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wilkins pinned against the cage. Wilkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wilkins tests Jonathan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wilkins stuns Jonathan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! It's a brutal combination of punches from Wilkins! Jonathan is backing up but he can't get away as Wilkins lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Jonathan and ends the fight. Great knockout.
