Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 5825 p4p, 23261 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 82 - 25 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 89 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fighter A throwing shots but Fighter B is blocking nicely. Fighter B gets full guard. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head. It's preventing any offense from Fighter A, at least for the moment. Fighter B controls Fighter A momentarily but Fighter A frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B wants to sweep here but Fighter A controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A postures up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter A engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fighter A but Fighter A pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fighter B shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fighter A pinned against the cage. Fighter A gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A trying to mount his opponent but Fighter B defends it. Fighter A controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter B is trying to get back to full guard. Fighter B keeping hold of Fighter A's head, controlling as best he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sss Sss dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fighter A closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fighter B quickly recovers to half guard. Fighter A thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fighter B's head. Fighter B keeping hold of Fighter A's head, controlling as best he can. Fighter B taking some punishment here, with Fighter A in his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B wants to improve his position but Fighter A is controlling well.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Fighter A content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B with a poor takedown and Fighter A counters with a nice kick to the body. Fighter A stuffs the takedown. Fighter A appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter A manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter B's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Sss Sss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sss Sss. Fighter A is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fighter B's half guard. Fighter A is controlling the pace.
Fighter B is looking to control Fighter A's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fighter B avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Fighter A has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. This is a sustained period of stalling by Fighter A.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Fighter B tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter A sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter B somewhat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sss Sss dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Fighter B tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fighter A swivels and escapes. Fighter B has a takedown stuffed. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B shows good takedown defense. Fighter B follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Fighter A shoots for a double leg takedown but Fighter B sprawls well. He's pushed Fighter A's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter B sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter B changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fighter A looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B postures up. Fighter B controlling from side mount. Fighter B is looking to take a break and control but Fighter A is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fighter B controlling from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is trying to control Fighter B's posture but Fighter B avoids it. Fighter A is trying to get back to half guard. Fighter B in the domination position with Fighter A hanging on.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter A changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter B tries to avoid it but Fighter A manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter B to the ground. Fighter B escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fighter B follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Fighter B displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fighter A. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Sss Sss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sss Sss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter A throws a quick counter head kick but Fighter B was just out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Sss Sss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
