The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lake misses with a takedown attempt
and Faith counters with a straight right hand.
Lake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lake shoots in for a double leg but Faith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Faith lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Lake looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Lake. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Faith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Faith takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oh Lake is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Faith cracks Lake on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lake falls backwards against the cage. Faith follows up with more strikes that drop Lake to his knees. Faith keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lake! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jarron Faith!
A relieved looking Jarron Faith thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
