Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennis Cunningham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alistair Ubereem!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ubereem.

Cunningham bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ubereem sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Cunningham missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Ubereem is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ubereem has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cunningham is working away from the top position though.
Ubereem moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ubereem manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cunningham manages to get himself to full guard.

Cunningham looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ubereem is one step ahead there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cunningham looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Ubereem tries to free his leg and advance position but Cunningham is retaining full guard.
Ubereem engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Cunningham is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ubereem slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Cunningham chips away with some ground and pound.
Cunningham throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ubereem works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Ubereem tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cunningham trying to move into half guard but instead Ubereem has managed to sweep!

Cunningham is trying to keep Ubereem in close.
Ubereem is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A telegraphed right hand from Cunningham misses the target.
Ubereem works over Cunningham's head and body with a nice combination.
Cunningham takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Cunningham misses with a hook to the body
and Ubereem counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Cunningham dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ubereem lands an overhand right.

Cunningham is rocked!
Cunningham misses with an uppercut
and Ubereem counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Cunningham out cold! What a finish! Ubereem is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alistair Ubereem!
An out of breath Alistair Ubereem thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
