Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frankie Mir!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Okoroji enables Mir to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Okoroji manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Okoroji is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mir keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Okoroji's head.

Okoroji is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mir is aware though and is defending well.

Mir has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Okoroji is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mir scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mir connects with a nice short shot to Okoroji's temple.
Okoroji pushes Mir off looking to stand but Mir dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mir is trying to control. Okoroji wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
