Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bagel Boss (ranked 1294 p4p, 1842 weight class) and Mr Pervitin (ranked 170 p4p, 231 weight class). Boss comes to the cage accompanied by 6 Foot 7 Foot. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pervitin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pervitin connects with a nice short shot to Boss's temple.

Boss has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Boss needs to keep his hands up - Pervitin had a free shot at his head there.

Pervitin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Pervitin drops his hands momentarily and Boss takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Mr Pervitin seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Pervitin lands a big head kick that sends Boss tumbling to the mat! Pervitin takes a step backwards and waves Boss back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Boss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pervitin moves out of range of the body kick.
And Pervitin responds with a good body kick, but Boss manages to step out the way in time.

and Pervitin counters with a huge left! Boss is in big trouble! He's backing up but Pervitin isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Boss from any more damage. A dominating finish by Pervitin!
