Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Jim (ranked 4195 p4p, 4049 weight class) and Reece Saint Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rusty Jim has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rusty Jim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reece Saint Le! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jim shoots in and drives through. Saint Le sprawls well. Jim shoots for a double leg takedown but Saint Le sprawls well. He's pushed Jim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Saint Le drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jim defends it well. Jim shoots in looking for a takedown. Saint Le tries to sprawl out of it but Jim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Saint Le manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rusty Jim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jim tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Saint Le swivels and escapes. Jim looks for a takedown but Saint Le sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jim closes the distance and clinches. Jim is trying to pull guard but Saint Le turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saint Le wants to take the fight to the mat but Jim manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Jim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rusty Jim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from Saint Le. No joy for Jim on that attempt. Saint Le drives through with a takedown into guard. Jim can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Saint Le controls the pace. Jim throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Saint Le passes easily into side control. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jim is breathing heavily. Saint Le is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jim looks calm but he's in trouble here. Saint Le gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jim is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Saint Le lets go of the hold and Jim can pop his arm back in it's socket.
