Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benson Beckley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 27 - 0, fighting out of London, Pull Plugger!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckley takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Beckley avoids the body shot from Plugger.
A little feinted left hand from Beckley on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Plugger gets tackled into the cage by Beckley. Beckley maintains the clinch.
Plugger has Beckley pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Beckley manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Beckley tries to work over Plugger's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Beckley gets control of Plugger's arms and successfully pulls guard. Beckley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Plugger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Plugger trying to control but Beckley is working from the bottom.
Plugger passes Beckley's left leg - he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plugger is trying for a kimura here. Beckley looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Plugger wins by kimura!
