The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay G throws a body punch but Broadaxe moves out of range.
Broadaxe appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Gay G has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Broadaxe tries to keep at a distance but Gay G has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gay G is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Broadaxe is defending well for now.
Gay G throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Broadaxe successfully pulls guard.
Gay G looking to improve position, pressing down on Broadaxe's thigh with his hand. Broadaxe seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Gay G paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Gay G's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Broadaxe picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
