The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dux is fending him off so far but Jansen persists. Nope, Dux circles away and we're back to standing.
A head kick misses from Dux.
Dux blocks the body kick.

Dux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jansen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mark Jansen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dux is squirming around, avoiding Jansen's attempts to control the action.
Jansen cracks Dux with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dux holds of for dear life.
Dux is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jansen looking to control but Dux is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dux can do anything to dispel that myth.
