Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Neves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanley is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: No, No, No - KISS. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinicius Neves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Stanley! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neves takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Stanley throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Neves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stanley's waist but Stanley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Neves off to one side. Neves is breathing heavily. Stanley fails with the takedown and Neves counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Stanley! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stanley manages to regain half guard. Good work. Stanley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Stanley looking to sweep here. No luck so far. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stanley is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neves is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stanley makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanley forces his way into half guard. Stanley thows a huge punch but Neves dodges it nicely.
Stanley wants to work for an arm triangle but Neves is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stanley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Stanley is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Neves has managed to free his arm - good work. Stanley tries to stand and escape but Neves is controlling the position. Neves is looking to control Stanley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Neves avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Neves is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stanley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Stanley seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Neves is not content to let Stanley control the position. Neves won't allow Stanley to pass to mount. Neves taking some punishment here, with Stanley in his half guard. Neves pushes Stanley off looking to stand but Stanley dives back in and keeps control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Neves shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stanley's guard. Stanley working for a triangle but Neves defends it easily.
Neves stands up from Stanley's guard - Neves perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neves feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Neves trying to control but Stanley is working from the bottom. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Stanley wants to stand and escape but Neves is having none of it. Stanley is striking from the bottom but Neves uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Neves connects with a nice short shot to Stanley's temple.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neves is nestled in close to Stanley, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Neves working over Stanley with some ground and pound. Stanley looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Stanley is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Neves rushes Stanley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Neves fails to pull guard.
Neves controlling the action here for a moment.
Stanley wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stanley wants a takedown but no success here.
Neves pulls Stanley into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Paul Stanley will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stanley doesn't succeed with the takedown and Neves counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Neves wants to work for an arm triangle but Stanley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stanley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stanley flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Neves is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Stanley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Neves avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neves gets to his feet. Stanley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Stanley gets caught flat footed, as Neves shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Stanley looking for a sweep. Not yet Stanley, not yet. Neves stands up and waves to Stanley to follow him. Stanley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Neves counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Neves is stalling in the full guard. Neves advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neves tries to move to mount but Stanley blocks the move with his legs. Stanley defending against the ground and pound. Stanley gets back to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Neves is thwarting Stanley's attempts to control the position. Neves is looking to advance position but Stanley won't allow it. Neves is looking to take a break and control but Stanley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stanley actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanley is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Neves pulls his head out easily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Neves closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Neves is keen to just control but Stanley is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stanley pushes Neves off looking to stand but Neves dives back in and keeps control.

Stanley wants to improve his position but Neves is controlling well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stanley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Neves decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stanley's guard. Vinicius Neves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Stanley. Neves postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stanley is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Neves, into his guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Neves is on top in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Neves is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Neves throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stanley works some decent striking defense from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vinicius Neves dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Neves looks for a takedown but Stanley sprawls well. Stanley fails with the takedown. Stanley tries to clinch but Neves is having none of it. Stanley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stanley has his takedown stuffed and Neves counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Neves tries to free his leg and advance position but Stanley is retaining full guard. Stanley has his foot on Neves's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Neves works his way back into a safe position though. Stanley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Neves can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neves wants to control from the top but Stanley keeps moving. Stanley looking to control.
Neves gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Stanley misses with a head kick.
Vinicius Neves is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Neves closes the distance and clinches. Neves is looking to break free of the clinch but Stanley has double underhooks. Stanley has Neves pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Neves manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Vinicius Neves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Stanley. Neves tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stanley just stands there and leans against the cage. Neves looking for a takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanley tries a knee to the head but Neves blocks it.
Neves gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stanley.

Neves fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Stanley tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Neves smiles and moves away.
Neves shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Neves showed some decent athleticism there. Stanley trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neves takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Stanley is staying active underneath Neves, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stanley wants to get back to his feet. Stanley wants to improve his position but Neves is controlling well.
Neves seems to be working for a kimura but Stanley defends the submission attempt. Stanley trying to control here.
Stanley regains full guard. Nicely done. Neves stands and throws Stanley's legs to the side, diving into side control. Neves wants to control but Stanley is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Stanley wants to get back to his feet. Stanley is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Neves looks up at the clock and then as Stanley takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Neves smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Stanley is not content to let Neves control the position. Stanley tries to get back to half guard but can't. Neves works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Vinicius Neves showed his dominance in that final round. I think Neves has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
