Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sigandi Legend Jr (ranked 5836 p4p, 14677 weight class) and Daniel Grigoryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sigandi Legend Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Grigoryan!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grigoryan lands with a kick to the ribs.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

As Legend Jr backs off Grigoryan throws a huge counter combo but Legend Jr manages to avoid it all.
Grigoryan cracks a nice hook into Legend Jr's ribs.
Legend Jr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Grigoryan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Legend Jr throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Legend Jr seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Legend Jr wants to control from the top but Grigoryan keeps moving.

That was a close round but I would say that Sigandi Legend Jr will probably get the nod.

Grigoryan has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Grigoryan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Legend Jr is working away from the top position though.
Grigoryan is doing well to control the position and prevent Legend Jr from advancing to side control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Legend Jr steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Grigoryan. That one must have hurt.

A close second round but Daniel Grigoryan will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Legend Jr closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Grigoryan to the mat! Grigoryan manages to get full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Legend Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Grigoryan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Grigoryan tries to lock up and control but Legend Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Legend Jr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Grigoryan looks a forlorn figure.
Legend Jr misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
