Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricardo San Felipe!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meza shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as San Felipe sprawls well. San Felipe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Meza gets slowly back to his feet.
San Felipe swats away the attempt to clinch by Meza.
Meza keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Meza tries to clinch up but San Felipe circles away and keeps his distance.
San Felipe blocks a head kick by Meza.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from San Felipe! But no joy.
Meza looks for a takedown but San Felipe sprawls well.

Meza is looking to regain half guard here but San Felipe keeps moving and retains side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Horrible takedown attempt by Meza or perhaps it was just good defense by San Felipe, which made it look bad.

Meza shoots for a double leg takedown but San Felipe sprawls well. He's pushed Meza's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And San Felipe tries to counter it with a takedown but Meza pushes his down on his head and steps out.
