Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23968 p4p, 23915 weight class) and Kulata Bitok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 38 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 41 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Buktot shoots in looking for a takedown but Bitok manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buktot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Buktot shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bitok is trying to defend but Buktot finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bitok tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Buktot defends well and Bitok ends up having to push Buktot into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Buktot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bitok tries to avoid it but Buktot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bitok to the ground. Bitok escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kulata Bitok showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
