Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Fuisse (ranked 4029 p4p, 3365 weight class) and Keanu Landron (ranked 461 p4p, 401 weight class). Keanu Landron told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacob Fuisse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keanu Landron!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuisse shoots in for a takedown but Landron shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fuisse backing away here, and Landron unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Jacob Fuisse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Landron counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fuisse fails with the takedown
and Landron counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Fuisse. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fuisse closes the distance and clinches up with Landron, looking for a takedown. Fuisse pushes Landron against the cage but Landron circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Landron! But no joy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fuisse closes the distance but Landron moves to the side
and Landron counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Fuisse out cold! What a finish! Landron is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keanu Landron!
Keanu Landron tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
