Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Borwornsit Ngam Chit! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ngam Chit misses with an uppercut. Ngam Chit takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. James darts in trying to clinch and Ngam Chit counters with a lovely straight right hand! James throws an off balance right hand
enabling Ngam Chit to counter with a crisp jab. James closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ngam Chit's guard. James looking to control the position here, rather than advance. James loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ngam Chit has his feet on James's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James rushes Ngam Chit and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. James throws a head punch that misses. Ngam Chit wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but James has him pressed against the cage. Ngam Chit tries to circle away but James has him pinned against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Ngam Chit's face as he tries to break the clinch. James lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ngam Chit backwards. James keeps control of Ngam Chit as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ngam Chit is looking to break free of the clinch but James has double underhooks. Ngam Chit pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ngam Chit ducks under a wild hook from James. James fails with a takedown attempt. Ngam Chit throws out a counter right but James avoids it with no problem. Borwornsit Ngam Chit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. James tries to clinch up. James throws a hook to the side of Ngam Chit's head but Ngam Chit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ngam Chit scores with a jab. James acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Ngam Chit drops James with a straight left! Oh this is bad for James! Ngam Chit dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Borwornsit Ngam Chit!
