Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo San Felipe (ranked 4174 p4p, 4206 weight class) and Gustav Kinski (ranked 184 p4p, 455 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricardo San Felipe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gustav Kinski!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinski fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
San Felipe walks into a jab.
Gustav Kinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kinski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
San Felipe tries to counter with a takedown but Kinski is quick to defend against it.
Kinski digs a good hook to San Felipe's body.
Kinski is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kinski with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kinski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but San Felipe manages to avoid it.
San Felipe tries to counter with a takedown but Kinski is quick to defend against it.
San Felipe misses with a straight right.
San Felipe drops his hands momentarily and Kinski takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kinski misses with a wild body shot.
As Kinski tries to get set, San Felipe tries to push him back and clinch up but Kinski manages to avoid the attempt.
Kinski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It looked like San Felipe wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kinski feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits San Felipes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
San Felipe on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Kinski misses with a body shot
and San Felipe counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

San Felipe darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kinski tries to kick San Felipe off but San Felipe keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Kinski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
San Felipe content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
San Felipe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

San Felipe is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kinski has managed to free his arm - good work.

San Felipe is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kinski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time San Felipe.
Kinski is trying is best to control the position here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

San Felipe looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
San Felipe lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kinski is trying to stand up here but San Felipe is controlling him well.
Kinski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. San Felipe is working away from the top position though.

San Felipe is working for a submission of some sort.

San Felipe is looking for a kimura but Kinski is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for San Felipe to get the leverage.
Kinski is trying to stand back up but San Felipe is controlling him
Kinski is refusing to be controlled, as San Felipe sits in half guard.
Kinski preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
San Felipe frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

San Felipe looking for a guillotine from mount but Kinski is having none of it.

Kinski is trying to escape the mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kinski can do anything to dispel that myth.

San Felipe goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kinski turns into him and now he's in San Felipe's guard.
San Felipe has a closed guard, preventing Kinski from standing up.
San Felipe keeping moving, preventing Kinski from controlling successfully.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Gustav Kinski dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

San Felipe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kinski misses with an uppercut.
A little feinted left hand from San Felipe on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kinski misses with a hook. San Felipe ducked under it nicely.
Kinski throws a body shot but no joy.
Kinski scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kinski connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kinski connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kinski scores with a sloppy right hand. San Felipe should have avoided that one.
Jab, jab by San Felipe - just one landing.
Kinski connects with a nice looking jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice takedown defense from Kinski. No joy for San Felipe on that attempt.

Kinski cracks a nice hook into San Felipe's ribs.

Gustav Kinski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
San Felipe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kinski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gustav Kinski seems to be getting the better of the standup.
San Felipe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
San Felipe avoids the body shot from Kinski.
Kinski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but San Felipe manages to avoid it.
Kinski just misses with a punch to the body.
San Felipe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A little jabbing left from Kinski on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
San Felipe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Ricardo San Felipe has been cut.
Kinski looks to throw the jab but San Felipe is out of range.
San Felipe swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Kinski dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kinski connects with a single shot there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kinski misses with a telegraphed body shot
and San Felipe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kinski lands with an uppercut that bounces San Felipe off the cage and back into range.
San Felipe drops his hands momentarily and Kinski takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

San Felipe is rocked!
Kinski walks forward and throws a big overhand right! San Felipe drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kinski swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from San Felipe's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gustav Kinski!
An out of breath Gustav Kinski thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
