Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Zion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Lind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zion comes to the cage accompanied by Lars Frederiksen & The Bastards - 1%. Bob Zion has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Zion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Curtis Lind! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lind tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zion swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lind throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Lind doesn't manage to clinch there - Zion circles away.
Lind fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lind drives through and clinches with Zion against the cage.
Lind manages to break the clinch.
Lind tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lind scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Bob Zion has been cut. Curtis Lind seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zion blocks a head kick by Lind.
Zion swats away the attempt to clinch by Lind. A good leg kick by Lind. Zion waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Lind. Lind just misses with a punch to the body.
Lind comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lind changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zion tries to avoid it but Lind manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zion to the ground. Zion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lind tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zion fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lind is out of range. Zion fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A big right from Lind misses. Zion displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lind. A nice combination there by Zion.
Lind changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zion looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lind lands a decent elbow from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zion taking a bit of punishment here - Lind scoring with strikes. Lind misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Lind looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lind cracks Zion with a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lind tries for a kimura but Zion is defending well. Lind landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lind working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Lind is trying to get an arm triangle but Zion is defending well. Lind looks gassed! Zion can't do much from the bottom here. Zion wants to get back to his feet. Zion is not content to let Lind control the position. Lind throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lind connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Zion some visible discomfort.
Zion tries to escape but Lind is in control. Lind working the body and head with strikes. Lind working the ground and pound. Lind trying to control the action but Zion is working from the bottom. Lind tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lind has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lind working away. Lind in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Zion is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
