Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abel Medicini (ranked 3665 p4p, 2832 weight class) and Tommy Weismuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weismuller has chosen The Nosebleed Section by Hilltop Hoods as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abel Medicini! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommy Weismuller! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Medicini gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Weismuller throws a big elbow that misses. Medicini avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Weismuller wants to pass the guard but Medicini is keeping the position. Weismuller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Medicini works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Weismuller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Medicini throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Medicini on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Medicini tries to get out of the position. Weismuller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Medicini has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Weismuller has managed to get both his arms back between Medicini's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weismuller wants to pass the guard but Medicini is keeping the position. Weismuller showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weismuller stands up from guard. Let's bang! We've been informed that Weismuller has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Weismuller drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Weismuller stands up and beckons Medicini to his feet. Medicini displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Weismuller. Weismuller lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Weismuller lands a head kick!
Tommy Weismuller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Medicini misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Weismuller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Weismuller throws a nice head kick!
Medicini is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Weismuller throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Medicini is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
