Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Owen (ranked 5047 p4p, 2142 weight class) and Alexandros Stamatis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Owen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Feel Me Flow - Naughty by Nature. Stamatis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sabaton - Sparta. Alexandros Stamatis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Sam Owen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 45 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexandros Stamatis!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stamatis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Owen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stamatis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Owen misses with a straight right.
Owen slips under a jab.

A little feinted left hand from Owen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Stamatis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Owen drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stamatis sprawls and moves away.
Stamatis just misses with a punch to the body.
A swing and a miss from Stamatis.
Stamatis lands a nice shot to the body.
Owen ducks under a wild hook from Stamatis.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Stamatis!
It looks like Sam Owen has been cut.
Owen misses with a head kick.
Stamatis looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Owen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stamatis jabs Owen right on the nose. Owen blinks but takes it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stamatis lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Owen out cold! Owen is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

After the fight, Alexandros Stamatis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Sam Owen was interviewed post fight and said 'Whenever I start something I try to finish it.'.
