Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Davin Barajas (ranked 3460 p4p, 3300 weight class) and Lom Ali Maskhadov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Davin Barajas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lom Ali Maskhadov! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maskhadov tries to clinch but Barajas is having none of it. Barajas feinted with a counter takedown. Maskhadov tries to clinch up and Barajas counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Barajas. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barajas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Barajas trying to control but Maskhadov is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barajas is looking to work some ground and pound but Maskhadov has wrist control. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barajas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Maskhadov keeping moving, preventing Barajas from controlling successfully. Maskhadov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barajas can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barajas postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Barajas scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maskhadov is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Barajas rolls with it to try and escape but Maskhadov cranks on the arm and Barajas is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
