Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 23204 p4p, 5880 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 91 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 84 - 23 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B dives in and grabs Fighter A's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter A pushes down on Fighter B's head and hops out. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fighter B was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fighter A is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fighter B off and has taken his back! Fighter B covering up well under a barage of strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Fighter A thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Fighter B trying to control but not successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A is landing with strikes from the back. Fighter B is in bad spot here.
Fighter A has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Fighter B. Fighter B covering up well under a series of strikes from Fighter A. Fighter A gets his hands free as Fighter B looks to control. Fighter B biding his time here by controlling the hands, looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A tries to keep control of the position but Fighter B is staying busy. Fighter A is punishing Fighter B with some ground and pound. Fighter A looking for the RNC. Fighter B trying to control but not successfully. Fighter A misses with punches from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B avoids the strikes from Fighter A. Fighter B covering up well under a barage of strikes. Fighter A is not going to allow Fighter B to sit and survive in this position. Fighter A thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A is not going to allow Fighter B to sit and survive in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A throwing damaging strikes from the back! Fighter B could be in trouble here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fighter B tries to escape but Fighter A has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Fighter A goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Fighter B escapes and is now in half guard on top. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Fighter B has a takedown stuffed. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around? Fighter A keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fighter A was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B is trying to buck Fighter A off. Fighter A throws an elbow but Fighter B slips to the side and avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Fighter A misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fighter A working away. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fighter A working the ground and pound from side control. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Fighter A working the head with strikes. Fighter B can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A throws a strike aimed at the side of Fighter B's head but Fighter B avoids it well. Fighter B manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fighter A's best efforts. Fighter B keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fighter B can do anything to dispel that myth. Fighter B trying to control here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter B shoots in but Fighter A avoids the takedown attempt easily. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fighter A quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Fighter A tries for a takedown but Fighter B circles away easily and Fighter B counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away. Fighter B changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter A tries to avoid it but Fighter B manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter A to the ground. Fighter A escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A shoots for a takedown but Fighter B saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter A fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B shows good takedown defense. Fighter B throws a fast counter high kick but Fighter A manages to duck under it in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter B shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter A defends it nicely. Fighter A drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fighter B sprawls and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter B shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fighter A counters with a body kick that stops Fighter B in his tracks momentarily. Fighter A shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fighter B pinned against the cage. Fighter B gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fighter B is pulling down on Fighter A's head. It's preventing any offense from Fighter A, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fighter A accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fighter A trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fighter A gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fighter B is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
