The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fletcher misses with a takedown attempt
and Fletcher takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Versu.
Versu scores with a kick to the midsection.
Fletcher looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Versu ducks under a wild hook from Fletcher.
Versu keeps the fight on the outside.
Geo Versu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Versu looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fletcher throws out a counter right but Versu avoids it with no problem.
Versu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Versu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fletcher sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Versu lands with a nice body kick.

Versu cracks Fletcher with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Versu has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Fletcher to stand back up!

Versu lands with a nice body kick.
Fletcher chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Versu can pounce on him.
Fletcher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Versu lands a brutal uppercut that launches Fletcher off his feet! Fletcher tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
