Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Owen (ranked 5441 p4p, 24543 weight class) and David Snake (ranked 510 p4p, 531 weight class). Owen comes into the arena with Feel Me Flow - Naughty by Nature blaring out of the sound system. Sam Owen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Sam Owen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Snake! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Owen lands with a hook. Snake tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Owen misses with a few strikes there.
David Snake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snake dodges the punch combination from Owen.
Snake is looking to clinch. A quick step to the side and Owen tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Owen drives through with a takedown into guard. Owen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Snake's head. Owen controlling from the top position. Snake tries to land a sweep but no joy. Owen cracks Snake with a solid left hand. Owen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Snake takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Snake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Owen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Snake is letting Owen control him for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Owen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snake keeps working. Owen landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Owen working the ground and pound. Owen controlling from side mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Owen working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Owen moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Snake should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. You can see the frustration on Snake's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Owen taking a breather here. Snake can't do much from the bottom here. Owen is trying to get an arm triangle but Snake is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snake struggling a bit here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Owen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Snake is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Owen landing a few strikes. You can see the frustration on Snake's face as Owen controls the position. Owen landing a few strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snake wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Owen taking a breather here. Owen scoring with punches from side control. Snake is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Snake is not content to let Owen control the position. Owen goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Snake has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Owen but great work by Snake. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Owen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Owen regains full guard. Nicely done. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Owen dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Snake wants to clinch. Snake takes a swing at Owen's ribcage but misses. Snake misses with an uppercut. Snake throws a sloppy head kick and Owen moves out of range easily. Owen cracks Snake with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Owen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Snake to stand back up!
It looks like David Snake has been cut. Snake bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Owen comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Snake falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Snake was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sam Owen! During a confident post fight interview, Sam Owen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
