PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buzzard Leonard (ranked 21414 p4p, 4196 weight class) and Kadyn Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kadyn Smith told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Leonard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Leonard. Leonard gets slowly back to his feet.

Leonard has taken the fight to the clinch.
Leonard has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Smith is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Leonard is trying to hold Smith in close to prevent damage but Smith has managed to pass into half guard.

Leonard is looking to get back to full guard here but Smith has managed to pass to side control instead.

Leonard reaches up around Smith's neck trying to control. But Smith takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Leonard! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Leonard is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Smith celebrates the victory with the fans!
