Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 47 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Meyer! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cooper. Meyer does a little dance to reset his feet. Cooper stuffs the takedown. Cooper scores with a nice strike. Cooper has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. A big right from Meyer misses. Cooper throws a hook but Meyer avoids it easily. Meyer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Meyer gets caught napping as Cooper dives in and scores a takedown. Meyer manages to retain guard. Cooper slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Cooper wants to pass the guard but Meyer is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cooper won't allow Meyer to get back to his feet. Cooper forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper not doing much here.
Cooper working the head and body with strikes. Cooper trying to control the pace. Meyer is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cooper looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Meyer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Cooper stops Meyer from getting back to his feet.
Cooper looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Cooper content to control rather than advance. Meyer trying to control here.
Cooper lands with a punch from half guard. Cooper slows the pace down in half guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Cooper is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Meyer on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Meyer taking some punishment here, with Cooper in his half guard. Cooper wants to pass to mount but Meyer is defending the position. Cooper content to control rather than advance. Cooper has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Meyer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cooper pulls his head out easily. Cooper trying to control the action but Meyer is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Meyer is looking for a sweep. Cooper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cooper uses his free foot to push down on Meyer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Meyer. BOOM! Cooper connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Cooper lands a big elbow - Meyer is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Meyer is forced to tap out!
