Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Giggle Valentine (ranked 948 p4p, 2422 weight class) and Bartlomiej Jan (ranked 74 p4p, 167 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Bartlomiej Jan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Valentine holds on and takes a little breather.
Valentine wants to control but Jan passes easily into half guard.
Valentine is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Jan is taking a breather. Valentine says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Valentine tries to roll over but Jan keeps him under control.
Jan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Jan is keen to just control but Valentine is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Valentine is positioning himself well to prevent Jan advancing to mount.

Jan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Valentine with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jan is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Valentine is holding on to half guard well.
Jan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jan connects with a nice short shot to Valentine's temple.
Valentine is controlling Jan's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Jan prevents Valentine from improving his position.
Valentine on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Valentine tries to get out of the position.

Let's hope that Jan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Valentine is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Jan has latched onto it... Big trouble! Jan pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Valentine is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Jan!
