Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Schop (ranked 4166 p4p, 4110 weight class) and Adrien Acosta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Schop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Adrien Acosta! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schop fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Acosta avoids it really well and circles away. Acosta is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Acosta doesn't manage to clinch there - Schop circles away.
Schop takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Schop looks for a takedown but Acosta sprawls well. Schop shoots in for a takedown but Acosta shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Schop. That's going to take a lot out of him. Acosta keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schop tries to work over Acosta's front leg with a kick but Acosta checks it. Acosta defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Schop. Schop fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Schop throws a sloppy head kick and Acosta moves out of range easily. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schop misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Acosta.
Acosta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Schop fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Acosta has a takedown stuffed. No luck with that takedown attempt from Schop. Acosta appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Schop has a takedown stuffed. Schop connects with a looping right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Acosta. Schop tries to control but Acosta manages to take his back. Acosta sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Schop taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Adrien Acosta!
