Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Porter (ranked 984 p4p, 2793 weight class) and Jason Laszlo (ranked 127 p4p, 318 weight class). Laszlo has chosen Medal as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jay Porter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Laszlo is predictable there
and Porter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Laszlo throws a right hand that Porter ducks under and follows up with a left that Porter also avoids with ease.

Porter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Laszlo.
A head kick from Laszlo lands but Porter takes it in his stride.

Laszlo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Porter is able to avoid easily.
Laszlo throws a sloppy head kick and Porter moves out of range easily.
Laszlo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Porter was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Laszlo misses with a low kick as Porter jumps back.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Laszlo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Laszlo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Laszlo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A little feinted left hand from Porter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Porter throws a hook but Laszlo blocks it.

Laszlo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Porter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circling - Porter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Porter throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Laszlo colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Porter as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Laszlo is left battered and dazed whilst Porter and his camp cheer!
