Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ay Bendito Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonzalez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Motown tries to pull guard but Gonzalez holds him up against the cage and eventually Motown drops back down to his feet.

Gonzalez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Motown scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Motown trying to control the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Motown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gonzalez is just riding it out for now. Motown eventually gives up the hold.
Motown is looking to take a break and control but Gonzalez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Motown is working for a kimura but Gonzalez is defending it quite comfortably.
Gonzalez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Motown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Motown working the head and body with strikes.
Gonzalez tries to roll over but Motown keeps him under control.

Gonzalez is defending against the submission attempts here by Motown.
Motown prevents Gonzalez from improving his position.

Gonzalez looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Motown is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Gonzalez has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Motown is looking to advance position but Gonzalez won't allow it.
Gonzalez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Motown.
Motown trying to control the action but Gonzalez is working from the bottom.
Motown is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gonzalez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Gonzalez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Motown is working away from the top position though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Gonzalez has his takedown stuffed

and Motown counters with a takedown into side control.
Motown is working Gonzalez over with some ground and pound from side control.
Gonzalez tries to bench press Motown off him but Motown keeps the position.

Motown is trying to get an arm triangle but Gonzalez is defending well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Motown in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Gonzalez is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
