Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richmond Belvedere (ranked 1592 p4p, 1564 weight class) and Jackie Chan (ranked 216 p4p, 209 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richmond Belvedere!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackie Chan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belvedere bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chan's head.
Chan throws a right and a left that Belvedere avoids nicely.
Belvedere swings for the body but Chan moves out of range.
Chan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Belvedere changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Belvedere motions for Chan to come forward. Belvedere throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Chan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Chan just misses with a punch to the body.
Belvedere changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Belvedere is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chan's half guard.
Belvedere is nestled in close to Chan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Belvedere is working for a submission of some sort.

Belvedere is looking for a kimura here.

Belvedere is looking for a kimura but Chan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Belvedere to get the leverage.

Belvedere definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Chan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Belvedere works over Chan with some ground and pound from guard.
Chan looking for a sweep. Not yet Chan, not yet.
Belvedere passes into half guard.
Chan is looking to control Belvedere's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chan avoid being mounted?

Belvedere in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Chan tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Belvedere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Richmond Belvedere!
Richmond Belvedere got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
