Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandar Dobrosavljevic (ranked 1479 p4p, 1971 weight class) and Shashlyk Lykmekov (ranked 89 p4p, 107 weight class). Dobrosavljevic comes to the cage accompanied by Jadakiss - The Champ Is Here. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Shashlyk Lykmekov enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobrosavljevic's corner calls for a 1-2. Dobrosavljevic obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Lykmekov throws a head kick that misses.
Dobrosavljevic was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lykmekov tries to clinch up.
Shashlyk Lykmekov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lykmekov on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Lykmekov shoots in but Dobrosavljevic avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lykmekov stalks Dobrosavljevic and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dobrosavljevic's face. Dobrosavljevic staggers backwards, shaken.
Lykmekov darts in looking for a takedown but Dobrosavljevic gets double underhooks and turns Lykmekov into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lykmekov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dobrosavljevic trying to keep a closed guard but Lykmekov is proving a slippery customer.
Dobrosavljevic wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Lykmekov is now in half guard.

Lykmekov is looking for a kimura but Dobrosavljevic is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lykmekov to get the leverage.
Well, if Lykmekov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dobrosavljevic moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dobrosavljevic looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lykmekov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Lykmekov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lykmekov shoots in for a double leg but Dobrosavljevic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dobrosavljevic went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Aleksandar Dobrosavljevic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shashlyk Lykmekov.

and Dobrosavljevic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Lykmekov decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dobrosavljevic to his feet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dobrosavljevic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Lykmekov clinches up with Dobrosavljevic and pushes him back against the cage.
Dobrosavljevic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dobrosavljevic has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

A close round but Shashlyk Lykmekov will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lykmekov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dobrosavljevic pinned against the cage. Dobrosavljevic gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
An attempted straight right counter from Dobrosavljevic misses the target.
Dobrosavljevic stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Dobrosavljevic gets tackled into the cage by Lykmekov. Lykmekov maintains the clinch.
Dobrosavljevic wants to break free but Lykmekov has control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lykmekov goes for a takedown attempt but Dobrosavljevic pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lykmekov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dobrosavljevic sprawls well. Dobrosavljevic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lykmekov gets slowly back to his feet.

Dobrosavljevic throws a shot from downtown. Lykmekov moves away and avoids it.

Dobrosavljevic lands a left and a right that send Lykmekov crashing to the mat, dazed. Dobrosavljevic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Lykmekov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dobrosavljevic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lykmekov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dobrosavljevic avoids it really well and circles away.
It appears Dobrosavljevic was looking to counter with a kick there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
